A new mixed-use project has reached completion and is almost ready for occupancy at 601 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica. The project proposal included the development of a new four-story mixed-use complex offering spaces for 40 apartments over ground-floor retail use. The project site previously housed a commercial building that was demolished. Cypress Equity Investments is the project developer. KFA Architecture is responsible for the designs. Ottinger Architects is serving as the project’s architect of record.

The project proposal includes the development of a new four-story apartment building offering 54 supportive housing units. Plans call for the adaptive reuse of a 1950s Safeway on the site.
