The permits authorized a 7‑story, 90‑unit building using Los Angeles’s Transit Oriented Communities incentives. As a condition of those incentives, 10 apartments are dedicated for Very Low‑Income households. Plans call for a mix of studios, one‑, two‑, and three‑bedroom homes wrapped around a podium with on‑site parking. Leasing materials now advertise units ranging from approximately 319 to 1,089 square feet, with current asking rents shown between about $2,103 and $6,182 per month (subject to change).

HED’s contemporary podium design introduces street‑facing activity on Glendale Boulevard and steps back to create elevated common spaces. Resident amenities include a lounge, fitness studio, swimming pool, rooftop deck, and other indoor–outdoor areas; the property also provides garage and covered parking and bicycle storage.

The one‑acre site sits just south of U.S.‑101 and a short walk from Echo Park Lake, placing residents between Downtown Los Angeles and Silver Lake with direct access to frequent bus service on Glendale Boulevard and Sunset Boulevard.

The city’s Transit Oriented Communities program grants extra height, floor area, and other relief in exchange for deed‑restricted affordable units near transit. Inspire Echo Park’s entitlement uses that framework; the project earns its bonuses by reserving units for Very Low‑Income renters.
