A new mixed-use affordable housing complex will soon be ready at its project site located at 330 Washington Boulevard in Arlington Heights, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new four-story building offering retail space and 84 apartments as affordable housing options. The project site previously housed an oil drilling warehouse.
Thomas Safran & Associates is listed as the project developer. BSB Design is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the development of a new four-story building offering 84 apartments. Named The Arlington, the apartments will be available as affordable and permanent supportive housing. The Arlington will also bring retail space and parking on the ground floor.
Groundbreaking happened in August 2024. The developer utilized approved density bonus incentives, to construct a larger complex than zoning rules would normally allow.
Renderings reveal a contemporary facade expressed in brick veneer. Onsite amenities include a fitness room, on-site laundry facilities, long-term bicycle storage, on-site parking, and courtyard with playground and BBQ area. A community room with a kitchen, TV, and computer lab will be available to residents. On-site property and case management will be offered.
The Arlington is expected to be inaugurated in late 2025. Applicants must have a gross monthly income that is at least twice their monthly rent. For more information please check out the website.
