A new apartment complex is on the rise at its project site located at 1655 North Allesandro Street in Echo Park, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story apartment building offering 41 apartments. The project replaced a warehouse on the site.
A.J. Khair is the project developer. GA Engineering is responsible for the designs.

Construction work can be seen in full swing at the property site for a five-story building featuring 41 apartments. The apartments are designed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans. Additionally, the apartment building will offer parking for 35 vehicles at an at-grade garage.
Onsite amenities include a courtyard, a rear yard, and a rooftop amenity deck.

Approved plans rely on Transit Oriented Communities incentives to permit a larger structure than otherwise allowed under zoning rules. In exchange, four of the apartments would be reserved as extremely low-income affordable housing.
The project site is located at the intersection of Allesandro Street and Effie Street. The estimated market availability has not been revealed yet.
