A new residential project has been proposed for development at 511 South Oak Knoll Avenue in Pasadena. The project proposal includes the development of a four-story building offering 46 new apartments on an empty lot.
K2 Capital, LLC is the property owner. LCRA is responsible for the designs.
The project site is up for redevelopment with housing; the developer is seeking approvals to build a four-story building featuring 46 residential units. The units will be designed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans. Parking is proposed in a subterranean garage with a capacity of 67 vehicles.
Plans call for six apartments to be set aside for rent by low-income and moderate-income households. That makes the project eligible for density bonus incentives, granting waivers from certain zoning standards.
“A contemporary design with flat roofs, projected and recessed building volumes, stacked punched openings and projecting canopies,” reads a staff report. The project site is located two blocks west of Lake Avenue in Pasadena.
A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
