A new five-story residential development is approaching delivery at 2055 Main Street in Irvine’s Business Complex district, adding 178 apartments to one of Orange County’s most active multifamily corridors. AO is responsible for the designs.

The project, developed by Intracorp, is organized as a wrap-style building constructed around a structured parking garage. The configuration allows residential units to line the perimeter of the block while internal parking is screened from the surrounding streetscape. The development occupies a prominent corner site along Main Street, contributing additional housing density within an area characterized by office and mixed-use buildings.

The apartment community, branded as Aurum, includes a mix of unit types arranged across five levels. Upper floors step back to accommodate outdoor amenity space, including a rooftop deck with a pool and additional shared facilities for residents.

Ground-level glazing and articulated façade panels define the street frontage, while upper levels incorporate balconies and varied material tones to break down the building mass. Landscaping along the perimeter softens the pedestrian edge and integrates the project into the surrounding Business Complex environment.

Delivery of the development is anticipated in 2025, further expanding Intracorp’s residential portfolio across Southern California.
