Construction is moving forward at 1321 North Mission Road in Lincoln Heights, where the first phase of Century + Restorative Care Village is taking shape near the Los Angeles General Medical Center campus. The project is being developed by Century Housing Corp. as a supportive and affordable housing community.
The first phase will bring 146 affordable and supportive homes to the property, along with a 12-bed peer respite facility and on-site supportive services. The apartments are planned for households earning between 30 percent and 60 percent of the area median income.

A later phase is expected to add 150 additional homes and a workforce development center on nearby land. Together, the phases are planned as part of a broader housing and care-oriented program near the medical center campus.
Designs by Practice and Studio-MLA show a five-story development organized around landscaped open spaces and pedestrian areas. The site plan includes a commercial kitchen, cafe, wellness center, case management space, community room, bicycle storage, meditation garden, dog run, active terrace, and outdoor courtyard areas. Parking for 125 vehicles is shown below the podium level.

Renderings show a contemporary residential complex with white vertical façade elements, elevated volumes, landscaped courtyards, and ground-level communal spaces. The buildings are arranged across the site with open-air areas between the residential wings, creating multiple outdoor zones for residents and service programming.
Completion of the first phase is expected in 2028. Once complete, the project will add new supportive and affordable housing capacity near one of Los Angeles County’s major medical campuses.v
