The structural frame is complete for a new residential building at 1747 Stoner Avenue in Sawtelle. Passo is developing the six-story project, which will contain 53 apartments designed by Aero Collective.
The unit mix will consist of studio and one-bedroom apartments. With the exception of required manager residences, the apartments will be reserved for low- and moderate-income households. No automobile parking is planned within the development.
Density bonus incentives were used to secure additional development capacity beyond the limits otherwise established by the property’s zoning. The available information does not identify the individual affordability tiers, the number of manager units, or the specific incentives granted to the project.
The rendering presents a narrow building volume with a flat roofline and a restrained exterior composition. Light-colored wall surfaces cover most of the principal elevation, while a darker vertical section defines one side of the structure. Stacked windows are organized into tall columns, with shallow horizontal projections marking several openings. Glazing wraps around the building’s visible corner above the ground floor.
At street level, the entrance is recessed beneath the upper stories and marked by the property address. Landscaping shown along the frontage includes trees, shrubs, and low planting areas placed between the building and sidewalk.
A completion date has not been announced.
