A new apartment complex will soon be available for renting at 1855 South Westwood Boulevard in West Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a six-story building offering apartments. The building replaced an automobile repair shop on the site.
Jamison Services Inc and Downtown-based real estate firm Zackary Bros are the project developers. Architect Sam Ghanouni designed the apartment complex.
Named Maxwell Apartments, the apartment building just finished construction to offer 60 residential units. The building is a six-story apartment complex with 60 units offered as a mix of one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom floor plans. The apartments are placed above a two-level subterranean parking garage with a capacity of 65 vehicles. Per the leasing website, monthly rents for the apartments will range from $2,995 for a 625-square-foot, one-bedroom dwelling, to $6,675 for a three-bedroom, 1,229-square-foot apartment.
Renderings, matching the site, reveal a contemporary podium-style structure clad in painted plaster. Onsite amenities include a recreation room and a rooftop deck.
The project site is located just south of Santa Monica Boulevard.
