A new residential complex is under construction at 8767 Parthenia Place in North Hills. The project proposal includes the construction of anew four-story building offering spaces for affordable housing, onsite facilities, and parking.
Hollywood Community Housing Corp is the project developer. Brooks + Scarpa is responsible for the designs.
Wood scaffolding can bee seen taking shape and form of a new affordable housing complex rising four stories high. The project, the Luna Vista apartments, will bring 73 residential units at affordable housing rates. The units are designed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments. An underground parking garage will also be developed as a part of the project.
The developer aims to provide apartments to cater to special needs renters earning up to 30 percent of the area’s median income level and low-income households earning between 40 and 50 percent of the area’s median income level.
The housing complex will also offer open spaces, an on-site laundry facility, and outdoor gathering areas. Renderings show a large opening carved into the front façade of the building, providing access to an internal courtyard. The project is on pace for completion in approximately 12 months. The project site is located off of Sepulveda Boulevard in North Hills.
