Affordable Housing Proposed At 946 Linden Avenue In Long Beach

A new affordable housing project has been proposed for development at 946 Linden Avenue in Long Beach. The project proposal includes the construction of a new four-story building featuring spaces for residential use, along with onsite amenities and parking. The site is occupied by the First Lutheran School. The Long Beach Community Investment Company, a non-profit affiliate of the City of Long Beach is the project sponsor. AMCAL Multi Family Housing Company is the project developer.

Framing is starting to rise at 200 Washington Boulevard, in Historic South-Central, Los Angeles. It will bring various levels of low-income housing to the area, as well as retail space. AMCAL is behind the development in partnership with Coalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD), a local community-based nonprofit. They have entitled it “La Prensa Libre Apartments.”
