A new living space is coming to 319 North Westlake Avenue which will be conveniently located near the 101 freeway as well as two metro bus lines deeming it to be a part of Los Angeles’ many transit oriented communities. Mountain View North LLC has got the green light to help reinvent this already changing neighborhood by providing affordable housing for extremely low and very low income households.

This new structure will stand at four stories tall reaching the height of approximately 63 feet and will have a total land area of 10,690 square feet. The project will include 5 one bedroom apartments and 9 one bedroom apartments with a den. It will also have an open space roof deck created for social interactions and relaxation alike.

Arcaforma Architecture has taken the job in constructing the design of this new living space located in Echo Park. Although the two single family dwellings still currently reside at this location we could see the ball start to roll soon as the city claimed that some action towards construction must begin within a three year period of the original date of approval which was April 8, 2019.
