A new apartment complex has been slated for development at 2649-2657 West San Marino Street in MacArthur Park, Los Angeles. The proposed project includes the construction of a six-story multi-family residential building. A pair of 108-year-old buildings will be demolished to make space for the new project.
KG Capital Investments is seeking approvals for the construction. KSK Design Inc is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
The project site is a parcel spanning an area of 6,749 square feet. The new apartment complex will provide fifty-five residential units, offered as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom dwellings. A semi-subterranean parking space with a capacity of 42 vehicles is proposed.
The developer has requested Transit Oriented Communities incentives, allowing for a larger, denser development. In exchange, KG Capital will set aside six apartments as deed-restricted affordable housing at low-income levels.
Renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise structure. The estimated date of project completion has not been announced yet.
The project site is located in a residential area toward the west of Hoover and north of Olympic Boulevard.
