New renderings have been revealed for a micro-unit development proposed at 231 North Hill Avenue, Pasadena. The proposed development will offer small residential units with single-room occupancies.

Tyler + Kelly Architecture is managing the design concept and construction. Brea-based entity Hill-Holliston is the project owner.

The property site is a 19,000 square-foot parcel. The residential development will consist of two four-story buildings containing 58 residential units. The unit sizes are proposed as small as 217 square feet. An at-grade parking space with a capacity of 47 vehicles is proposed. The development will showcase 41 market-rate units, 16 affordable units, and one manager’s apartment. An outdoor pool deck is also proposed on the site.

Renderings depict a contemporary low-rise project with elements with a hint of Mediterranean styles. The facade is expressed in stucco and stone masonry.

The estimated date of project completion has not been announced yet.

The property lot is situated between Hill and Holliston Avenues and located north of Walnut Avenue.
