New residential units have been completed at 11401 North Porter Ranch Drive in Porter Ranch, Los Angeles. The buildings are the second phase of “The Vineyards at Porter Ranch” development by Shapell Properties. The first phase was the adjacent Vineyards shopping center, a $150 million retail entertainment center with many local shopping, dining, and amusement choices. The site is made of ten buildings and a community center, spanning a ten-acre site. The community center is two stories high, and the multifamily residential buildings are three stories. There are approximately 266 residences, consisting of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts.
Amenities include a shared clubhouse, pool, and a total of 90,500 square feet of open space. There are 514 car parking spaces, some of which are covered, and others are in uncovered areas. 155 bicycle parking spaces are also provided.
The design is by Architects Orange. The aim was to create a sophisticated, pedestrian-oriented experience that utilizes the best and newest technologies for sustainable operation. Porter Ranch is the largest master plan community in Los Angeles, will soon gain two additional community collections in the Westcliffe village called Skyline and Summit.
