An affordable housing complex will soon be available on the market at 4604 South Western Avenue in Vermont Square, Los Angeles. Wood framing is starting to take the form of a five-story residential building.
RMG Housing is the project developer. EDDG Inc is managing the design concepts and construction.
The supportive housing complex will comprise forty-nine apartments, offered as a mix of studios and one-bedroom residential units. The building will be developed on a site that formerly housed an abandoned building. All units will be reserved for low-income households, and one manager unit will also be available on the site. Other on-site amenities include a community room, a computer lab, and services provided by Homeless Healthcare of Los Angeles.
Renderings showcase a low-rise contemporary podium-style structure capped by a rooftop amenity deck.
The developer is utilizing Transit-Oriented Communities incentives, allowing no on-parking and hence offering more units. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
