Another mixed-use apartment complex is almost complete, ready to be added to Los Angeles at 3800 South Figueroa Street. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story apartment building across Exposition Park.
Core Spaces and Amplify Development have teamed up to develop the project. Antunovich Associates is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
Hub on Campus at the Coliseum, the mixed-use project will bring 79 units to the seven-story edifice. Retail space spanning an area of 10,000 square feet will be constructed on the ground floor. A parking garage with a capacity of 100 cars will be developed on the site.
Renderings reveal a podium-style contemporary building design comprised of five levels of wood-frame construction above a concrete base. The building facade will be made in wood and brick, featuring cantilevered balconies. A rooftop deck will be designed to provide open gathering space.
The apartments will be available for students at nearby USC as well as employees with jobs in the surrounding community. The property site is located at the intersection of 38th Street and Figueroa Street.
