Construction has begun for a new mixed-use residential project at 860 East Valley Boulevard in San Gabriel. The project proposal includes the construction of a condominium building with retail space.
860 E & A, LLC, a Diamond Bar-based entity, is the project owner.
The project site was previously supposed to house commercial buildings. The redevelopment proposal will bring forty-nine condominium apartments in a four-story edifice. The total built-up area is 34,876 square feet. A retail space spanning an area of 9,200 square feet will be designed on the ground floor. Plans also call for a subterranean parking space with a capacity for 107 vehicles.
Renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise structure designed in stucco and stone veneer.
Wood framing is now complete, and the multi-family residential project is anticipated to reach completion in 2022.
The project site is located a 30-minute drive away from Los Angeles International Airport and Long Beach-Daugherty Field Airport.
