A new apartment complex has finished construction at 5755 Tujunga Avenue in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of an apartment complex, replacing a commercial building on the site.
Elevado Group is the project developer. Ken Stockton Architects is responsible for the design concepts and construction.
The project consists of 33 apartment units built in a six-story building. The residences are offered as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. A subterranean parking garage with a capacity of 40 vehicles is available on the site.
Renderings depict a podium-type building with geometric protrusions. Onsite amenities will include a business center, a recreation room, and a rooftop deck.
The developer is employing Transit-Oriented Communities guidelines to permit a larger building than allowed under local zoning rules. In exchange for incentives, four of the new apartments will be set aside as affordable housing.
Construction of 5755 Tujunga began in Summer 2020 and is on pace for completion in early 2022. The property site is located one block east of Lankershim Boulevard.
