A mixed-use infill project has wrapped construction at 11590 Pico Boulevard in Sawtelle, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a mixed-use building offering commercial and residential spaces.
City records list the project developer as an entity managed by investor Kayvan Naimi, the owner of the Santa Monica Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram car dealership. Plus Architects is responsible for the design concepts.
The project will bring apartments and commercial spaces into a five-story building. The building will feature 21 apartments on its upper floors– including two deed-restricted affordable units. Retail space spanning an area of 600 square feet will be developed on the ground floor. Parking space with a capacity of 12 vehicles will be developed on the site.
Renderings reveal a podium-type structure with a rooftop amenity deck and a rear-facing patio on its second floor.
The project site is located west of Metro’s Expo/Sepulveda Station.
