609 North Dillon Street is nearing the finish line, in Silver Lake. The project, by CIM Group, will bring 52 new apartments to the area, as well as some ground floor retail space. The contemporary design continues to modernize the area, with 505 North Silver Lake Boulevard going up a block away, and “The Dillon,” which was also a CIM Group project, recently completed next door.

609 North Dillon street, also seen in some documents as 601 North Dillon Street, is 45 feet tall, 85 feet long, and 123 feet wide. It is three stories tall, with two basement levels for parking. 18,000 of retail will be on the ground floor.

Parking will include 27 compact, 4 disabled, and 67 standard parking spaces. 6 short term and 52 long term bicycle parking spaces will be provided. The Temple/Hoover bus stop is a few blocks away, and the Vermont/Beverly Metro Station a few more blocks beyond that.

LOHA is behind the architectural design. As part of the Transit Oriented Communites program, the site received a 17 unit density bonus. It includes five low income house units that fall under the extremely low income tier.
