A new residential project has been proposed at 10756 West Wilkins Avenue in Westwood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of seven apartments replacing a single-family home near the Mormon church’s Los Angeles Temple.
The property owners are listed as the entities FIN Holdings LLC and Wilkins Group LLC, which are affiliated with Anaheim-based Keystone Builders, Inc. and Los Angeles-based Lumar Corporation, respectively. Labyrinth Design Studio is responsible for the design concepts.
A 1930s single-family home is all set to make way for a new apartment complex on a wedge-shaped parcel. The project will bring a five-story apartment complex featuring seven apartments. A small subterranean parking garage will also be developed on the site.
The project seeks the approval of Transit Oriented Communities incentives, permitting a larger structure than allowed by zoning in exchange for setting aside one apartment as deed-restricted affordable housing.
Renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise structure topped with a rooftop oculus hovering over a private deck. The property site is located at the intersection of Ohio Avenue and Wilkins Avenue.
