A small mixed use complex has been approved for 140 Palm Drive, in Oxnard. Lizette Elenes, of ERA Architects is listed as the project representative. The site is currently a gated and paved lot with a couple of storage units.
The new development will be two stories tall. Three apartments will be inside. One apartment will have two bedrooms and be 1,000 square feet, it will be on the ground floor. The two other units will each be one bedroom layouts, with about 700 square feet each.
There will be 900 square feet of commercial space. Inside the office section, there will be three separate office rooms, each of which will be 130 square feet. Additionally, there will be a storage room, break room, and unisex restroom.
Renderings depict a coastal contemporary design, blending residential and commercial elements. The homes will have a separate entry and lobby space to the right of the commercial unit. Parking and some additional storage will be at the back of the lot. The lot is 5,250 square feet over all, the angular shape measuring about 50 by 116 feet.
