A new residential project has been proposed for development at 975 South Manhattan Place in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a seven-story apartment complex on a vacant property lot.

Jamison Services Inc is the project developer. DFH Architects is responsible for the designs.

Plans calls for the construction of a new seven-story offering 120 apartments. The apartments will be designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. Parking for 127 vehicles will be located at grade and in two subterranean levels.

Project entitlements include Transit Oriented Communities incentives, permitting reduced side yard and open space requirements, as well as an increase in allowable floor area. In exchange, Jamison is required to set aside 12 apartments for rent as extremely low-income housing over a period of 55 years.

Renderings reveal a contemporary podium-style building clad in white stucco and blue metal panels. Onsite amenities include a pool, a courtyard, a club room, and a rooftop deck.

Construction is expected to occur over a 34-month period commencing in early 2023 and concluding in late 2025. The project site is located northwest of the intersection of Olympic Boulevard and Western Avenue.
