Construction has wrapped up for a residential project proposed at 585 Anton Avenue in Costa Mesa. The project proposal includes the development of a large-scale apartment complex featuring multifamily units, retail space, and onsite parking.
KTGY Architects is responsible for the designs. The apartment complex was built by Quarterra, a subsidiary of Lennar. MJS served as the project’s landscape architect.
Named Halcyon House, the apartment building brings 393 residential units into a pair of five-story buildings. Retail space spanning approximately 4,000 square feet is proposed on the ground floor. Parking for more than 740 vehicles is also designed on the site.
The apartments are designed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts, as well as street-fronting townhomes. Rental prices are listed as ranging from $3,250 to $8,025 per month.
Renderings reveal two podium-type buildings with amenities that include a street-level public courtyard, three outdoor amenity decks, two pools and spas, a fitness center, and a yoga room.
The market availability will soon be announced. The project site is located just southeast of the Segerstrom Center.
