A new supportive housing complex has reached completion at 20016 Sherman Way in Winnetka. The project proposal includes the construction of a four-story housing complex offering affordable units. The complex replaced a series of automobile repair shops on the site.
Hollywood Community Housing and GTM Holdings are the project developer. Lahmon Architects is responsible for the designs.
A year-and-a-half after breaking ground in Winnetka, the wrapping is off at Palm Vista, a new affordable and permanent supportive housing complex offering 89 residential units. The residential units will be offered as a mix of 44 supportive housing units and 45 low-income housing units, and two manager’s apartments. Plans call for a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans, all of which would be set aside for households earning a maximum of 50 percent of the area median income level.
The renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise building that sits near the intersection of Sherman Way and Winnetka Avenue. The estimated availability has not been announced yet.
