A new apartment complex will soon take shape and form at its project site at 12040 Stagg Street in North Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new four-story apartment building offering residential units, garages, and onsite amenities. The project site houses a single-family residence which will be demolished.
Helen Tat of Tatcoson LLC is the project applicant. San Marino-based NEO & Associates is designing the project.
A single-family residence built in the 1950s could make way for apartments in a new four-story building featuring eleven residential units. The units will be designed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments on its upper floors, as well as a garage with two accessory dwelling units at street level.
Renderings reveal a contemporary low-rise structure, with a central patio that opens to the street and allows for natural ventilation.
The project’s entitlement application indicates that it will require the approval of a zone change by the North Valley Area Planning Commission. The site last sold for $710,000 in 2016, according to city records. The project site is located one block east of Laurel Canyon Boulevard.
