Construction is now complete for a new permanent supportive housing complex at a corner lot. Named The 6th Street Place apartments, the six-story building brings 70,000 square feet of total built-up area providing 94 residential units at affordable rates. The units are designed as studios. The complex also features community space and a 13-car garage on the ground floor. The building is reserved for low-income households and features one manager’s unit. The People Concern will be provide the residents with on-site services.

The designs feature modular construction sustainably built with cost-effective strategies that support the local community. Individual components of the building were manufactured off-site, then assembled on the site like any typical prefab construction.

The project site sits near the intersection of 6th Street and San Pedro Street.
