A new residential project is under construction, taking shape and form at 849 North Detroit Street in Fairfax. The project proposal includes the construction of four three-story small lot houses. The project would replace a single-family residence from the 1920s on the site.
Partners Development, LLC is the project developer. Avi Galili Collaborative is responsible for the designs.

Earlier this month, an application was submitted to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning seeking approvals to demolish the existing single-story on the site. Plans call for the construction of a new development consisting of four small lot homes. Each residence will rise to a height of 36 feet and feature a rooftop deck. Plans also call for parking for seven vehicles located at-grade.

The project site is located just south of Sprouts and West Hollywood. Renderings reveal three-story houses with exteriors designed in metal panels, concrete, smooth plaster, and wood siding. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
