Conversion and reuse have been proposed for an existing building at 6464 Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the adaptive reuse of a commercial building constructed in the 1920s, to be converted into an apartment building with live/work units.

Bolour Associates is listed as the owner of the building. Abramson Architects is designing the project.

The scope of work includes converting the upper floor of an existing two-story commercial building to offer 8 live/work apartments. All units will feature one-bedroom floor plans with dedicated workspace. The project also calls for the creation of 5,625 square feet of retail space on the ground floor. The commercial space will replace an existing theater.

The Complex, the commercial building was recently designated a local historic landmark.

A project application was submitted to the Los Angeles Department of City Planning. The estimated project completion date has not been announced yet.
