A new residential project has been proposed for development at 4501 Orange Avenue in Bixby Knolls, Long Beach. The project proposal includes the construction of a new townhome community. The project calls for the demolition of the existing commercial buildings, surface parking, and leased open space on the site.

Burnham Development LLC is the project developer. Summa Architecture is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the construction of  six new buildings housing 32 townhomes with attached garages. Each townhome will feature three-bedroom layouts, two parking spaces at the ground floor.

Renderings reveal three-story facades. The project proposal also includes landscaping work. The townhome community will also offer eight guest parking and onsite amenities such as a children’s play area and a fire pit.

The project site is a corner lot located at the intersection of Orange Avenue and San Antonio Drive. A project review meeting has been scheduled on January 18, 2024 at 5 pm. The estimated construction timeline has not been announced yet.
