A new supportive housing project is almost market-ready at the project site located at 2106 South Central Avenue in Central-Alameda, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a five-story building offering 57 apartments.
Los Angeles-based Highridge Costa Development is the project developer. Egan Simon Architecture is responsible for the designs.
Exterior work is making progress to bring a new permanent supportive housing complex rising five stories high, featuring 57 apartments. The apartments are designed as a mix of studios and one-bedroom floor plans. Other than residential space, the complex will also offer seven parking spaces for on-site staff.
Renderings reveal a contemporary podium-style structure, decorated with balconies, a street-level recreation room, and a podium-level outdoor deck.
Funding for the project includes a variety of public sources, including Measure HHH. The estimated completion date has not been announced yet.
