A new senior housing project is under construction at 8070 West Beverly Boulevard in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new seven-story building offering housing units for seniors.
Local real estate firm Black Equities Group is the project developer. VTBS Architects is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the construction of a new seven-story building offering 80 units and 20 guest rooms. Named 8070 Beverly, the project has been approved as an eldercare facility, and so at least 75 percent of its floor area is dedicated to assisted living and senior independent housing. The remaining dwellings can be set aside as memory care units for residents suffering from dementia.
In addition to senior housing, the building will also offer approximately 7,000 square feet of medical office space at the ground-floor as well as a 6,000-square-foot synagogue. The latter space will serve as the new home of Congregation Beth Israel, which previously occupied the site prior to redevelopment.
Renderings reveal an exterior designed in smooth white stucco complimented by wood panels.
The project site is located at the intersection of Beverly Boulevard and Crescent Heights Boulevard. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
