Large-scale office space has been proposed for development at 130 West College Street in Chinatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story building offering spaces for office and retail uses.
San Antonio Winery’s owner, the Riboli family is the project owner. Grimshaw Architects is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the development of a new five-story building offering 225,000 square feet of office space above 8,200 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The building will also offer parking in a 440-car garage.
The building built material will be balanced with new public and private open green spaces in the form of a central courtyard located mid-block along Bruno Street, and a plaza at the intersection of Alameda and College streets.
The project site is located adjacent to Metro’s Chinatown station, between North Spring and North Main Streets. The project proposal has moved forward with a pending environmental review. Construction is anticipated to be completed in 2028.
