Redevelopment proposals have been submitted for a project site located at 1047 North Crescent Heights Boulevard, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a senior affordable housing community offering 40 units.

Santa Monica-based Community Corp. of Santa Monica is planning to redevelop with site.

Earlier this month, the West Hollywood City Council voted to move forward with an exclusive negotiation agreement with Community Corp. of Santa Monica for the redevelopment of the project site.

The developer has proposed the construction of a new five-story building, featuring 40 residential units for seniors. The units will be designed as a mix of studios and one-bedroom floor plans. Additionally, a community room, two offices for service providers, a landscaped courtyard, and laundry rooms will also be developed as part of the project.

The initial term of the agreement between the City and the developer will be six months, with an option for an extension. At the completion of the period, the project would be expected to move forward on a long-term ground lease, with the City of West Hollywood prepared to provide a loan of up to $1 million for predevelopment activities.
