A new apartment complex is rising taking shape and form at 640 South St. Andrews Place in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new eight-story multifamily residential complex offering retail space as well.

Jamison Services, Inc. is the project developer. MVE + Partners is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the development of a new eight-story multifamily residential offering 230 dwelling units and ground-floor commercial space spanning 800 square feet. The units will be designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. A 133-car residential garage will also be built as a part of the project.  The garage would also include 50 parking stalls for use by the adjoining Wilshire Professional Building.

Renderings reveal an exterior designed in stucco and smooth plaster. Onsite amenities include co-working space, a fitness center, a screening room, and a courtyard pool deck.

Project approvals include Transit Oriented Communities incentives, permitting a larger, denser building than allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, the project will include 23 extremely low-income affordable units.

The project site is located north of Wilshire Boulevard in Koreatown.
