A new multi-family housing project is under construction almost ready at the project site at 10939 West Ohio Avenue in Westwood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new six-story residential apartment building offering 18 apartments.
Brennen Hakimian is the project developer. Warren Techentin Architecture is responsible for the designs.
The scope of work includes the development of a new six-story building offering 18 apartments with parking for 12 vehicles. The apartment building will offer units designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom, and five-bedroom apartments.
The developer entitled the site with Transit Oriented Communities incentives, which allow for a larger structure with less parking than would normally be required under zoning rules. In exchange, three apartments are to be set aside for rent by extremely low-income households.
Renderings reveal an exterior designed in smooth stucco and perforated metal panels painted mint green.
The project site is located on a corner lot at the street’s intersection with Veteran Avenue.
