A new residential complex is on the rise taking shape and form at 127 North Madison Avenue in Playhouse District, Pasadena. The project proposal includes the development of a new five-story building offering spaces for residential and commercial uses. The project replaced a surface parking lot on the site.

Toledo Homes is the project developer. Los Angeles-based architecture firm Struere is responsible for the designs.

Named Madison Place, the mixed-use apartment complex will bring 49 condominiums and commercial space on the ground floor of a five-story building. Commercial space will span an area of 2,500 square feet. Additionally, the mixed-use will offer subterranean parking. Onsite amenities include a community room and a rooftop deck

Renderings showcase a C-shaped footprint above the ground floor and a central courtyard overlooking the street. The facade will be expressed in terra cotta, formed metal, and beige stucco.

The estimated construction timeline and market availability have not been revealed yet.
