A new residential project has been approved for development at 4423 Cartwright Avenue in Toluca Lake. The project proposal includes the construction of a new five-story residential building offering 13 apartments. The project will replace two vacant homes on the site.
Bondfield LLC is listed as the project applicant. Edward Carlson is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the construction of a five-story development offering 13 apartments. Plans calls for the construction of 13 apartments, all designed as one-bedroom floor plans. Each floor will include a recreation room. Additionally, a ground-level parking space with a capacity of eight vehicles will also be developed as a part of the project.
The Los Angeles City Planning Commission has granted approvals for the project. City Planning Commission approval was required to grant density bonus incentives permitting a larger structure than otherwise allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, two of the new apartments are to be set aside for rent by very low-income households.
The project site is located a few blocks to the west of Lankershim Boulevard. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
