A new affordable housing project is under construction rising and taking shape at the project site located at 23036 Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the development of a new eight-story affordable housing complex offering 100 apartment units.

Daylight Community Development is the project developer. FSY Architects is responsible for the designs.

The scope of work includes the development of a new eight-story building offering 100 affordable units. The units will be designed as a mix of studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom floor plans. Parking for 95 vehicles is also proposed within the property.

The modern facade is proposed to be designed in stucco.

The affordable housing complex will yield a total of 100,000 square feet that will be divided between affordable and permanent supportive housing catering to low- and very low-income renters. That restriction made the project eligible for both density bonus incentives and streamlining via the Mayor’s Executive Directive 1.

The project site is located toward the south of the US-101 Freeway in Woodland Hills.
