A new residential project is under construction at 1814 and 1818 East First Street in Santa Ana. The project proposal included the development of a new residential community offering 35 single-family residences available for sale.

The project site is comprised of two vacant parcels. Named Cabrillo Crossing Townhomes, the scope of work included the construction of a new residential community offering 35 single-family attached townhomes. Out of the total, 6 townhomes are proposed as live-work residences. The community also offers 4 residences as affordable housing options.

Upon completion, the townhomes will rise three and four stories high. The buildings will feature tuck-under parking. The floorpans will range from 2-3 bedrooms and offer 1,385 to 2,476 square feet of built-up habitable area.

The proposed development requires review and approval of a tentative tract map for condominium purposes. At this time, construction for 12 units has been completed, 8 units are at 80% completion, 15 units are at 40& completion.
The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
