Construction is active at 12032–12038 Washington Place in Mar Vista, where two townhome-style buildings are rising. The plan delivers eight homes across two buildings, each four floors tall with four dwellings per structure. Each structure is planned with private rooftop outdoor space.
Design is by Stockton Architects, and records list 1340 Broadway, LLC as owner.
Groundbreaking commenced in July 2024 and is still in progress. The project followed demolition of two triplexes dating to the 1950s. In massing, the project reads as two mid-block, four-story volumes in a contemporary townhome setup capped by roof terraces.
With eight homes split between two structures, the scale stays modest compared to typical small-lot infill along Washington Place. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
