A four-story residential building is nearing completion at 1408 West 62nd Street, occupying a corner site at the intersection of 62nd Street and Normandie Avenue in South Los Angeles. The project is being developed by Restore Neighborhoods L.A. alongside Holos Communities and introduces a purpose-built supportive housing structure to the neighborhood.

The development contains 27 apartments, including 26 units designated for supportive housing, organized within a compact footprint that addresses both street frontages. On-site social service space is incorporated into the building, aligning residential uses with support functions under a single roof.

Plans prepared by Lehrer Architects show a contemporary form defined by stacked volumes, exterior stair circulation, and projecting balconies. The street-facing elevation is distinguished by a vertical green façade element, which visually anchors the building while softening its presence along Normandie Avenue.

Landscape architecture by Studio-MLA frames the project with planted setbacks, low walls, and shaded pedestrian edges. Renderings indicate the use of native and drought-tolerant landscaping to define outdoor areas at the ground level and along the perimeter of the site.

Resident amenities include a rooftop deck, a shared community room, and long-term bicycle parking. As construction approaches completion, the project represents a small-scale supportive housing addition that combines residential density, integrated services, and a visually distinctive architectural treatment at a prominent South Los Angeles intersection.
