A new residential project is under constriction taking shape and form at 7050 Van Nuys Boulevard in Van Nuys, Los Angles. The project proposal includes the construction of a mixed-use building offering spaces for residential and commercial uses.
Alliant Strategic Development is the project developer. AC Martin is responsible for the designs. Milender White is the general contractor.

Almost 18 months after ground breaking, construction is in full swing for a mixed-income housing complex. Named Ardent on Van Nuys, the project is taking shape and form on an L-shaped parcel. Upon completion, the project will offer 332 apartments and 4,105 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Additionally, parking for 180 vehicles will also be designed on the site. Onsite amenities include three courtyards and two rooftop decks.

In exchange for Transit Oriented Communities development incentives, permitting additional height and reductions to open space and parking, Alliant Strategic will be required to set aside 37 of the apartments as deed-restricted affordable housing at the extremely low-income level. Additionally, the remaining apartments are to be reserved for households earning up to 90 percent of the area median income level.
The building will overlook both Van Nuys Boulevard and Vose Street. Renderings reveal a modern facade designed in painted stucco. The estimated market availability has not been announced yet.
