A new mixed-use project has been proposed for development at 4827 Sepulveda Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of new six-story buildings offering spaces for residential and commercial uses.
IMT Residential is listed as the project developer. KFA Architecture is responsible for the designs.
Named Via Avanti, construction work is under full swing for a mixed-use complex. The project site spans an area of five acres. Project plans were approved for multiple interconnected six-story buildings offering a total of 325 apartments and approximately 40,000 square feet of commercial space. Onsite parking has also been proposed as a part of the project. The residential units will be designed as a mix of one-bedroom and two-bedroom floor plans, ranging from 589 to 1,513 square feet in size.
Renderings reveal a facade expressed in a Tuscan-style design, fronting onto Sepulveda Boulevard with a landscaped plaza. Open landscaped areas will include a network of private and publicly-accessible open spaces. Onsite amenities include a swimming pool, a fitness center, a dog park, a club room, and a community garden.
IMT Residential purchased the project site in July 2019 for $58 million. The estimated completion date and market availability have not been revealed yet. The project site is located next to the I-405/US-101 interchange.
