A new mixed-use project is under construction taking shape and form at 611 North Virgil Avenue in East Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new mixed-use project rising five stories high, offering commercial and residential spaces.
Culver City-based Continental Development Group, LLC is the project developer. Kevin Tsai Architecture is responsible for the designs. MID Construction is the project’s general contractor.

The scope of work includes the construction of a new five-story mixed-use complex that will offer 30 residential units and commercial space on the ground floor. The residential units will be designed as a mix of two-bedroom and three-bedroom floor plans. Commercial space spanning 1,500 square feet will be developed on the ground floor.
Additionally, a 21-car garage will also be developed on the site. Onsite amenities include common rooms and outdoor decks.

Project entitlements include Transit Oriented Communities incentives to a larger building than would otherwise be allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, three of the new apartments will be set aside as deed-restricted affordable housing at the extremely low-income level.
The mixed-use is rising just south of Melrose Avenue in East Hollywood. The estimated construction timeline has not been revealed yet.
