A new residential project has been proposed for development at 1006 North Edinburgh Avenue in West Hollywood, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of a new apartment building offering 17 units. The project will replace existing single-family residences on the site.
Shahrokh Zarrin of Kiavand, LLC is listed as the project developer. Levin-Narino Architects is responsible for the designs.
The proposed project will be developed on two parcels. Plans call for the construction of a new four-story building featuring 17 apartments above parking for 24 vehicles.
Requested approvals include density bonus incentives which would permit a larger development than otherwise allowed by zoning rules. In exchange, three of the new apartments would be set aside for rent by moderate-income and very low-income households. Onsite amenities include a common rooftop deck and front yard for residents.
A project application has been submitted, pending review and approval by the West Hollywood Planning Commission. The project site is situated on the border between the cities of Los Angeles and West Hollywood.
