A residential redevelopment is proposed at 10900 Wilshire Boulevard in Westwood, where 323 apartments would be created through a combination of adaptive reuse and new construction. VTBS Architects is listed as the project architect.

The larger portion of the housing program would be placed inside the existing 17-story office tower, which contains approximately 247,000 square feet of floor area. Plans would convert the building into 199 apartments, with one-bedroom and two-bedroom layouts. Existing ground-floor commercial uses would remain.

The project also includes a new seven-story residential building elsewhere on the property. That portion of the plan would add 124 apartments, bringing the sitewide residential total to 323 units. Parking for 416 vehicles would be provided within the project site.

The proposal would introduce housing at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Westwood Boulevard while retaining the primary high-rise structure already on the property. The plan differs from a full demolition-and-rebuild approach by reusing the office tower and adding a second residential component on the same site.

An estimated construction timeline has not been announced.
