New multi-family residential buildings are under construction at 840 South Mariposa Street in Koreatown, Los Angeles. The project proposal includes the construction of two buildings with residential units and basement parking.
Woodland Hills-based venture, CGI Strategies, is the project developer. KFA Architecture is managing the design concepts and construction.
The project site is a two-parcel site and will house the proposed two seven-story buildings. The development will feature a total of 182 units offered as a mix of studios, one, and two-bedroom apartments. 10 percent of the units will de set aside as deed-restricted affordable housing. A basement parking space with a capacity of 173 vehicles is also designed. On-site amenities are inclusive of fitness rooms, courtyards, and rooftop decks.
The architecture style of the low-rise structures is expressed in brick, metal panels, and plaster.
The buildings are anticipated to be completed by mid-2022. The project site is situated south of 8th Street, surrounding another residential development.
