Plans to construct a new office building at 9160-9176 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, are being discussed. The project proposal includes the construction of a building offering office spaces and commercial space along with on-site parking.
West Hollywood-based firm, Faring Capital, is the project developer. Gensler is managing the design concepts and construction.
The property site currently houses a luxury car dealer, Hornburg Los Angeles. The new development will bring a five-story edifice featuring 43,500 square feet of office space. Commercial space spanning an area of nearly 8,400 square feet will be designed on the ground floor. The project will offer a three-level parking garage with a capacity of 105 vehicles.
Renderings reveal a low-rise structure that tapers in vertical massing. Setbacks on the upper levels and floor plans will create outdoor decks. Residents can also enjoy a well-designed terrace overlooking the area. The facade will showcase a digital exterior as well.
The construction timeline includes the initial study and estimates a groundbreaking in late 2022. The project will reach completion in 18 months after groundbreaking.
The project site is located on the Sunset Strip, bordering West Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
